San Pedro de la Nave is a Visigoth church from the 7th century that was dismantled stone by stone in 1930 to save it from the flood caused by a water reservoir. It was moved to a new site and rebuilt according to a hypothetical model. This illustration shows two moments. The first, on the left, represents the original construction moment in the seventh century. The second, on the right, represents the context of archaeological documentation and reconstruction in the 1930s of the 20th century.
This project was presented to the Historical Illustration and Recreation Contest "50 Aniversario del Sitio Histórico de Sta. María de Melque" (organized by the Diputación de Toledo and the ADARQ Association in Spain), and obtained a Special Mention in the category of Illustration with application of new technologies in November 2018.
